We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development for INTUS Smartcities Inc. We encourage applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and interests related to Smart City Technology to apply to develop careers with us. This includes (but is not limited to) infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, and other sectors, such as military and municipal management. The Director of Business Development will have tremendous opportunities to gain valuable experience in the rapidly growing Smart City industry, and work with a faced-paced and engaging team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned as required)
- Stimulating business development with municipalities and large utilities companies nationwide
- Communicating with key personnel within municipalities and large utility companies
- Fostering relationships within the Smart City industry
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in go-to-market solutions, product management & marketing, technology operations, and strategic business development
- Expertise on the Internet of Things (IoT), infrastructure challenges and related problems, modern utility technologies, democratization/adoption of emerging and sensor technologies
- A proven record of building, growth, and management of teams over 50 people
- A strong track record in establishing relationships and exceeding “commits” through a multidimensional approach of working with internal cross-functional teams, ecosystems, engineering and operational functions
- Excellent negotiation skills (internal and external)
- Strategic thinking with tactical implementation, “can do” attitude, and enjoyment of challenges
