Expanding SUE & Infrastructure Mapping in Texas

Creating a reliable digital foundation for the future of Texas's critical infrastructure.

Overview

Digital Mapping for BEAD Readiness

Our GDIC (Geospatial Data Integration & Collection) division is executing a major initiative in Texas. This project is focused on providing state-of-the-art digital mapping and data services to support large-scale construction, enhance asset management, and ensure statewide readiness for the BEAD program.

The Strategic Goal

De-Risking and Accelerating Development

By creating an accurate, reliable digital map of its infrastructure, Texas can plan more efficiently, build more safely, and maximize the impact of its BEAD program funding. This project provides the foundational data needed to accelerate development while mitigating the risks associated with unknown subsurface conditions.

Key Activities

Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)

We conduct comprehensive SUE studies to accurately characterize underground assets, a critical step for de-risking construction projects.

GIS & Digital Twin Creation

We integrate all asset data into modern GIS platforms, creating precise and interactive “digital twin” models of the infrastructure.

Legacy Data Conversion

Our teams convert years of legacy as-built records and paper maps into a unified, accessible digital format for state partners.
